Safety

Last updated · 22 May 2026

A dating game still ends with two real people meeting in a real place. We take that seriously, and we are building One Shot at Love with safety in mind from the first roll.

What we’re building toward

One Shot at Love is for adults 18 and older. As we build, we are designing for safety rather than bolting it on later, including thoughtful encounter pacing instead of endless swiping, clear reporting and blocking tools, and review of accounts that cross the line. We’ll publish the full details as the app launches.

Meeting someone safely

When the app opens and you arrange to meet, a few timeless habits go a long way:

Reporting a concern

If something feels wrong (on this site, in our emails, or anywhere using our name), tell us at safety@oneshotatlove.com. We read every message and take reports seriously.

In an emergency

If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and can’t respond in real time.
